Also, addressing the very real existence of growing antisemitism on both the Right and the Left is also critically important now and as recent events remind, why the preservation of Liberal Zionism is utterly necessary as a means to perpetuate a safe nation for Jews from the ravages and horrors of State power against marginalized communities. Safeguarding the pillars of Liberal Democracy also shields us all from the horror of centralized, militarized State power like the Palestinian people also suffer under and why their right to self-determination validates our own since we are all equal in our shared humanity. This kind of discussion is precisely what is needed at this time.
