While you talk about “NO LITMUS TESTS”, you’re missing one thing:
The AIPAC administered litmus test.
Unlike Shapiro or J-Street, they won’t allow candidates to stay mum about their unconditional support for Israel.
Every candidate WILL be asked “do you support Israel unconditionally?”
Answer yes and you get the check and the free trip to kiss a wall.
Answer no and your opponent will get the check, the trip to kiss the wall, and Johnathan Greenblatt will figure out a way to call you a blood-libeling anti-Semite.
So YOU might want to stay silent … but AIPAC won’t.
